From Atheist to Mormon : August 24th

Hello Everyone,

First off:

Happy Birthday to the most amazing man in my life. I could never imagine the words to describe how much love I have for you Daddy. You have been my rock and my source of comfort and security my whole life. Especially on my mission when I have really needed it. That includes the words of advice, the understanding from a missionary's point of view and a listener. I hope you know how much I look up to you in more ways than just height difference;) I have never met a more hard working, insightful and incredible person than I have you. You have set a very high standard for what I want in life and in a future spouse. The words from our song, "I'll always be your baby." Love you Dad.

This past Saturday, Emily Haskins went into the waters of baptism. Her cute soon to be missionary boyfriend Logan, had the incredible opportunity to baptize her. The beautiful moment of seeing them enter into the water, saying the words perfectly and seeing the smile on both of their faces as she came out of the water brought a very strong spirit with it as they hugged. This amazing experience reminded me of my mother. My mom at the same age of 16 made the same decision that would change everything. This amazing girl made the biggest decision her life and I could not have been more proud of her. I love her and I know God loves her even more. How incredibly grateful I am to be here to see this mighty change of heart happen to one of God's choice spirit children.

The blessings and miracles have flooded Madison, there isn't a place in the world that I'd rather be then here.

Love,
Sister Huffaker
