A Love Like This : Aug 10th

To the most loving parents a girl could ask for:

Today is a very special day for our family. It's the day that marks 31 years that my wonderful parents promised Heavenly Father and each other that their love was for forever. The two people that I look up to the most in my life, have set the perfect example of what I want in my own marriage someday.
You have taught me the meaning of sacrifice. What it means to put someone's else needs and wants above your own, and you have shown by the way you respect and honor each other that your love has not only grown over the years, but its an epitome of what God intends marriage to be like.
I cannot thank you enough, for loving each other unconditionally and for teaching me and my siblings to understand the meaning of true love. I hope you two love birds have an amazing day. :)

This week was full of miracles from the Lord. One of those miracles, is Emily.

Emily is the girlfriend of a member who recently turned in his mission papers. She has been attending church for a few weeks now, and last week as I sat down by this wonderful girl and got to know her better, I asked if she would be willing to hear the lessons that we teach as missionaries. She sweetly replied, "Yes ma'am" (I love the South) We had our first few lessons this week with her and she has accepted to be baptized August 22. The other night, an inspired question was asked during the lesson, "Emily have you prayed to know if this is what God wants you to do?" She shyly nodded yes and then further explain how she received that answer. Without permission, I wont share her sacred experience, but I can tell you that... she knows her Father in Heaven gave her the answer she needed. I had the thought right then to bare the testimony that through out her life that if she remembered the answer she was given, that she will always remain a faithful member. In one short week I have seen progression in this sweet 16 year old.

I love ya'll so much,
